Amapayipi e-SAW (Longitudinal Submerged Arc Welded) ahlukile kwezinye izinhlobo zamapayipi ahlanganisiwe asetshenziswa ezinhlelweni zamapayipi. Asetshenziswa kakhulu kumapayipi okudlulisa uwoyela negesi,kanye nezinhlelo zokusebenza zesakhiwo njengokwakha amabhuloho kanye nemigudu.
Ngokuphathelene nezindinganiso, amapayipi e-LSAW ahambisana nezindinganiso ezibekwe yi-American Petroleum Institute (API), i-International Organization for Standardization (ISO), kanye ne-American
I-Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME). Lezi zindinganiso zichaza imininingwane yobukhulu, ukwakheka kwamakhemikhali, izakhiwo zemishini, kanye nezidingo zokuhlola zamapayipi e-LSAW.
Amapayipi e-LSAWzitholakala ngamamaki ahlukene njenge-ASTM A671, ASTM A672, ASTM A525,I-BS EN10210, BS EN10219, kanye ne-API 5L Gr. B. Ukukhethwa kwebanga kuncike ekusetshenzisweniizidingo ezifana nokucindezela, izinga lokushisa, kanye nohlobo loketshezi oluthuthwayo.
Ukusetshenziswa kwamapayipi e-LSAW kuhlukahlukene, futhi asetshenziswa kakhulu emigqeni yokudlulisa uwoyela negesi, amapayipi amanzi, kanye nezinhlelo zokusebenza zesakhiwo njengokwakha amabhuloho kanye nemigudu.
