Amapayipi ensimbi yekhabhoni e-LSAW (Longitudinal Submerged Arc Welding) asetshenziswa kabanzi njengamapayipi okufaka inqwaba ngenxa yekhono lawo lokubekezelela imithwalo esindayo futhi anikeze ukwesekwa kwesakhiwo. Lawa mapayipi enziwa ngenqubo yokufaka inqwaba enamandla, okuholela esakhiweni sepayipi esiqinile, esingenamthungo, nesifanayo. Ukuze kuthuthukiswe ukuqina kwamapayipi ensimbi yekhabhoni e-LSAW, kuvame ukufakwa ungqimba lwe-3LPE (i-Three-Layer Polyethylene). Lo ngqimba unikeza ukumelana okuhle kakhulu nokugqwala, ukuvikela amapayipi emswakama, amakhemikhali, kanye nomonakalo wangaphandle.
